Job Description:
We are looking for a warm, organized, and guest-oriented individual to join our team as a Hostess in the Rosemarine & Augusto restaurants. As a hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our restaurant guests and will play a vital role in creating a pleasant and professional dining experience. Your responsibilities will include welcoming guests, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements, all while working closely with the rest of the restaurant team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
- Manage reservations via phone, email, and reservation systems.
- Organize and maintain a waiting list when necessary, keeping guests informed and comfortable.
- Assign guests to tables based on the seating plan and availability.
- Provide basic information about the menu, daily specials, and restaurant services.
- Ensure the entrance and hostess stand are always tidy and presentable.
- Collaborate with waitstaff and management to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries or complaints with professionalism or refer them to supervisors.
- Keep track of special requests and preferences (e.g., allergies, celebrations, VIPs).
- Participate in daily team briefings and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in guest-facing roles, preferably in high-end hospitality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
