Reports to: Sous chef and Executive chef
Location: Lazure Hotel & Marina – Herceg Novi, Montenegro

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Artisan Baker to join our new boutique bakery within the Lazure Hotel & Marina complex. This is a unique opportunity to take part in shaping a high-quality, craft-driven bakery inspired by traditional techniques and modern creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handcraft a variety of boulangerie products, including classic French breads, croissants, brioche, and viennoiseries
  • Develop and maintain sourdough starters and artisan doughs using long fermentation methods
  • Produce a consistent range of high-quality, fresh baked goods with a focus on flavor, texture, and presentation
  • Maintain high hygiene standards and ensure daily production meets demand
  • Participate in developing seasonal and signature bakery items
  • Collaborate with the culinary and management team to maintain product excellence and innovation

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an artisan baker, preferably in a professional boulangerie or boutique bakery
  • Deep knowledge of traditional baking techniques and sourdough fermentation
  • Passion for hand-crafted doughs and natural ingredients
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
  • Ability to work independently, organize production, and manage prep timelines
  • Creativity and openness to contribute to a new and evolving bakery concept
  • Availability for early-morning shifts and flexible working hours
